Why this table

Most owners spend decades building a business and weeks thinking about leaving it. Around this table, we slow down and ask better questions before the clock starts.

Don't roll back the odometer before you put up the For Sale sign. Make a pit stop: a planned, well-run handoff that sends the business back onto the track at full strength.

What we'll discuss

Legacy

What do you want this business, and your name, to mean when you're gone?

Stewardship

Running the business as something entrusted to you, and how long-term value differs from short-term return.

Generosity

Structuring your exit so more can be given, with smart tax strategy in service of a purpose.

Identity

Who are you after the business? Your labor, influence, finances and expertise (LIFE) have a next chapter.

We'll also explore how to increase the value of your business and which path fits you best: ESOP, private equity, management buyout, family succession, strategic sale, and everything in between.

Who should come

Owners of privately held businesses who are thinking about a transition in the next 3-5 years, even if you haven't told anyone yet.

No sales pitch. Just honest conversation with peers.
